The Stadio Olimpico sits in the Foro Italico sports complex at the foot of Monte Mario, beside the Tiber in north Rome. Home to both AS Roma and Lazio and the main stadium of the 1960 Olympics, it is Rome's biggest concert venue, with an open bowl where summer shows start in the warm Roman twilight.
Combining Rome with Foxborough

Getting to the venue: Take tram 2 from Piazzale Flaminio to Piazza Mancini, then walk about 15 minutes across the Ponte Duca d'Aosta to the Stadio Olimpico. Buses 910 (from Termini) and 32 (from Ottaviano) also stop nearby. Rome has no metro station at the stadium.
